BANGALORE: West Bengal's Sanchay KR Paul came up with a standout performance as he shattered the national and meet records twice while winning the boys Under-14 100 metres sprint in the 29th Junior National Athletics Championships on Thursday. Paul had clocked 11.19 seconds in the heats to better the national and meet record of 11.42s set by Tamil Nadu's B. Karthikeyan in 2010. He then went one better and did an 11.14s in the final. Bengal's Chandan Bauri clocked 48.24s in winning the 400 metres in boys-16 to erase the national and meet record of 49.14s set by Arjun Khokar of Haryana in 2010.
